The backlog of stuff we ought to post is piling up, but we need to be in the moment today as we celebrate going back to school and particularly Sammy's first day of first grade—the Schultüte day!
Of course in America folks don't know about Schultüten, but Sam and Emma were glad to bring the tradition overseas (a big THANK YOU to Bini!!).
We also saw a road runner in our yard for the first time today. Very exciting!

Ja, wir haben auch eine "Danke"-Video für Bini, das kommt hoffentlich demnächst, wenn es geschnitten ist...
Oh mein Sammy, irgendwie bist Du schon wieder größer geworden, Du großer-kleiner Schuljunge! Und Emma gibt ihm einen Kuss mit auf den Weg, wie süß....und so ein schönes Kleid!
