Sammy hat einen Magen-Darm-Infekt
Sammy hat heute einen Magen-Darm-Infekt und war/ist zuhause (nachdem er in der Schule auf den Teppich erbrochen hat...), aber es wird schon langsam besser.

Schultüten!
The backlog of stuff we ought to post is piling up, but we need to be in the moment today as we celebrate going back to school and particularly Sammy's first day of first grade—the Schultüte day!
Of course in America folks don't know about Schultüten, but Sam and Emma were glad to bring the tradition overseas (a big THANK YOU to Bini!!).
We also saw a road runner in our yard for the first time today. Very exciting!

Back to ABQ
We've made it back to our southwestern home after being on the road for a week for the wedding of Tom and Sarah.
The wedding took place against the beautiful backdrop of scenic Colorado. We'll likely have a few posts to show some of the sites. Here was our hotel on the way back south to New Mexico, a very nice, laid-back establishment in the middle of nowhere. To get there we had to wait for a train that was literally 125 cars long (we counted!).
Anyway, more mountainous pictures to follow!
