The best part of the farm trip was the amazing number of things the kids could have fun doing on their own. Climbing and jumping in the hay, costumes, playing store, playing farm, several sandboxes, an enormous number of cars, bikes and scooters to ride. Most of the stuff was in barns that were pleasantly cool during the rather hot days. Emma hung upside all on her own for the first time on the hey ladder and Sammy did his first somersault on the giant trampoline.
Of course probably the best part was a group of 8 other kids ages 2-8 who were fun playmates for Sam and Emma.

One of the favorite attractions was the hammock.
Of course the MOST popular toys weren't toys at all....

And there were even toys for grown ups.
But more up the grown-ups alley was the "Summer Kitchen" where the adults could sit in the shade, use the cappuccino machine, and enjoy the calming vista.
