Sammy had a great twelfth birthday which we celebrated both on Thursday and Saturday. Thursday there were lots of presents for both Sammy and Emma.
For the afternoon Barbara made lovely cakes and lots of family came over including the youngest member of the family, Elena!
And a fußball match broke out in the backyard between Emma and Jakob

On Saturday we came to the main event. Here is Samuel preparing with a piano score to go and see his one real passion live on stage: Die Zauberflöte! Emma brushed his hair into a kind of 2005 John Krasinski doo.
It was a very fun and colorful production with lots of kids on stage!
At intermission Sabine had organized a special treat with a private table decked out with tasty food and drinks all ready and waiting for us!
