We've been getting Christmas'd up here in ABQ. Our first family tree has been a big hit with the kids. And they have been very excited about opening advent calendars (both physical and digital) every day. Sammy has been quite good at keeping track of what day of the month it is as a result.
Here was our Nikolaus party with the Albuquerque German group. Emma was called the "mutigstes kind da" and both kids were very excited to receive some neat Playmobile.

OH, was für ein toller Weihnachtsbaum, so bunt und leuchtend, der würde mir auch gefallen! KÖnnt ihr den vielleicht einpacken und mitbringen für die Möni? Und der Nikolaus sieht sehr sehr echt aus - da wäre ich nicht mutig gewesen als kleine Möne...aber vielleicht hätte ich mich auch auf den Boden geschmissen und geschrien, wenn ich keine fetten Päckchen bekommen hätte. The tree is lovely. Nice to see all the ornaments. And a visit with a real Santa! Very exciting!
