Ohio in July

After a full day of airports and airplanes we arrived in Cleveland for the Young Composers Program where P & K were teaching for a week. Samuel survived mainly by playing with his Grandma (notice a pattern developing here?). He also hung out at faculty meetings and found inventive ways to get half-eaten food on his parents' dress clothes.

Here is the group photo, complete with one-year-old mascot.

Back at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Mt.Vernon there were lots of new toys to play with

and we took advantage of great weather to take a walk. Sam enjoyed some of it.

One of life's pleasures is certainly playing in the backyard with Grandma!

as you can see, he ultimately ventured off on his own.

"What do you mean 'DON'T PUT THAT STICK IN YOUR MOUTH', Grandma? I didn't do anything. See?"

Great to hear that Sam is inventive with food at such a young age...After a couple decades, I still manage to find ways of staining my clean white dress shirts too. Also, those are some cute shots of Sam and Grandma B!
