We inherited a cute old kids bench from our friends Kevin & Kim (stars of the New Mexico Philharmonic)

Canopy

So we've finally figured out how to put our open-ended Birthday/Christmas gifts from Grandma & Grandpa H to good use: a backyard canopy!  We finished getting it up today (almost all K's handy-work) and I enjoyed working out there this afternoon.  You can see the sun-line along my score sitting on the table in the first picture, illustrating how I was able to sit comfortably shaded. :)

So thanks to Grandma & Grandpa, we can look forward to comfortable outdoor work sessions for the rest of the spring.  Meanwhile, I'm making reasonable progress on filling the hot-tub with earth and stone.  Quite a ways to go still, but a start is a start.
