House news, zoo pics

The good news is that all of the transaction business for the new house is finished! We did the closing on Nov. 15th, which happens to be the late Great-Grandpa W's birthday. So happy birthday to Great-Grandpa W and thanks for your help with our new house. Thanks also to Barbara and Volkfried for all of their help and persistence with wiring money and dealing with the frequently-frustrating bank system!

(Keep in mind if you are mailing anything to us that we won't be taking up full-time residence there for a while because we are going to be doing some work on the place up to our Christmas travels. So for now you can use the old ABQ address.)



Anyway, the kids are more interested in our weekly trips to the (very nice) zoo, so here are some shots from our last few trips:

Halloween

Sammy had a fun time Trick-or-Treating tonight. He was all dressed-up as an alligator/Krokodil. His costume was popular in the neighborhood and he got a respectable pumpkin-bucket full to bring home to his family!

Schnuller Fee

The Schnuller Fairy came Friday night and took Sam's schnuller (binky) and in exchange Sam got a Pooh and a Tigger. He's excited to play with these new friends and can be seen here reading them a bedtime story,

Slide

We got a new slide for the kids that has been a hit so far. Emma REALLY loves climbing!

Zoo Trip

We signed up for our first family zoo membership today. Needless to say, Sam and Emma had a very nice time!

Accepted.

The people at Wells Fargo have decided our offer/counter-counteroffer is acceptable and so we have entered into phase two. Here's a sneak preview video. We'll start doing inspections on Monday.
