Now is the Month of Maying

For those who don't yet know the fabulous "Now is the Month of Maying":

It is finally RAINING here, which is absolutely fabulous.

Yesterday evening, Sammy and Oma watched a film ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krabat_(film) ) that required cuddling. It would have been too much for Emma, so she stayed upstairs and played Gravitrax with Peter.

Today, we had a lovely ZOOM meeting with Margrid, Joachim, and Möne. My screenshots of it didn't work, so I can't prove this with a photo.

Right now, these people are playing board games:
That figure in the computer screen is supposed to be Chris.

Happy month of Maying everyone!

Emma's comment

So we think we've now correctly reconstructed this morning's (surprisingly typical) conversation:

Samuel: That was a piece by Cesar Franck.
Emma: Is that the Caesar guy?
Peter: No, you are thinking of Julius Caesar.  He declared himself Emperor of Rome.
Emma: 'Cause he was drunk?

School at home

School has been closed for a while now.  Oma and Möne (Marion) and Grandma are helping the kids (mostly Sammy) getting their work done.  Opa is teaching woodworking (using a christmas present from aunts Regina and Margrid).  Bini (Sabine) is taking care of patients.  (Achim, too, but I don't have a photo.)  THANK YOU all, DANKE !!!  Also, Isolde has woken up from hibernation!
