Spaß mit Irvine während des Symposiums

Out in the foothills

While K is stranded in Denver waiting to get home, I thought she could use a blog post of the kids from our Saturday walk in the foothills.  Once we're there, the kids never want to leave!

Hard at work

Since K is away, here is a report on how things are going in Albuquerque.

Emma is hard at work, doing her music theory.

Meanwhile, Sammy is doing an independent study on the Magic Flute and making himself laugh.

But once the sun goes down everyone is ready for bed

Emma's Snow Day

Last evening we had a beautiful snowfall and Emma was out making snow angels and a snow kid named Elizabeth.

So first thing this morning Emma was out again hard at work making a house for her snow kid.

 

While Emma was laboring away, the rest of us enjoyed the views

That unblinking Albuquerque sun has now melted away most of it but the snow child and her abode have been sticking it out and Emma pays her regular visits.
