Yesterday was Sammy's "Schulfest". But before we took off, he needed a little trimming up.
At the school Sammy and his classmates displayed what they'd been working on this past week. Sammy had been making board games. He made 10.

Around the house
We've been cleaning the house and getting some things organized. The
apartment is making progress and while Karola was away for a day in
Berlin, we even made a lemon cake for fun:
And it's been nice to have a lot of time with the kids over the long weekend (Thursday & Friday were the last Ferientage of the summer). But everyone's ready for school to start again on Monday!
