Emmas dritter Geburtstag

Ab morgen ist hier Winter!

Am Wochenende wird's hier bis -8 Grad Celsius kalt werden, Höchstwerte 9 Grad Celsius. Sonntag soll es schneien. Ausserdem werden wir Sonntag mit einigen deutschen Kindern und deren Eltern einen Laternenumzug machen. Erst müssen wir die Laternen aber noch basteln...

Halloween

We successfully made it back from our post-holiday San Francisco trip.  So with the dust settling, we are able to put up a few pictures from the week of Halloween.  Emma and Sammy are completely caught up in ballet these days and Emma decided to be a ballerina, which carried over into pumpkin picking and swinging.

At Sammy's school they had a Halloween party which included a costume contest for each grade.  Here Sam is representing the kindergarten well.  He also got his stripes!

And here are the kids at the Serendipity School Halloween party.  Emma is doing a sort of "bobbing-for-donuts" game.
